How’s everyone feeling?

Wow, what a year 2020 was! Its been a year of challenges, having to adapt, thinking about changing business ideas, how to keep going and motivated and just making it to Christmas!

Christmas Wreath Making

I ended the year making Christmas Wreaths and running small socially distanced Wreath workshops in our workshop in front of a real fire! We had some amazing wreaths made, met some lovely customers and had a general lovely time! It made me think about what other workshops I could offer in 2021…….

I belong to an amazing networking group Mint Business with amazing creatives, and am looking forward to working with many of them in 2021 once we have planned on what and how we can do that! I will be putting some workshops in the events page for the Summer so keep watching!

Flower Bouquets

One of the joys of growing seasonal flowers is creating bouquets for special people. I dont consider myself to be an expert, but putting together flowers and foliage grown by me into a hand tied bouquet is very rewarding. As the seasons change it exciting to see the different flowers and foliage evolving from the garden. Dried flowers have been a big trend for this year, showing my age now, but I remember when they were in fashion in the 1980s! I am offering small dried flower bouquets so  check out my shop page for information and to order.

Vintage Franglais has been busy this year with customers doing more online shopping with the changes in circumstances due to Covid 19. Lots of fab vintage goodies have been winging their way around the country! Sadly, a trip to France is not possible but I still have some fab new items in my Etsy shop! You can also still find me at The Flea Circus in Newcastle
