Vintage and Flowers evolved from a love of locally grown seasonal flowers and all things Vintage!
I am a self taught (and still learning!) flower grower, enjoying growing and sharing flowers that are seasonal. I love creating casual, natural bunches from the flowers I grow and the foliage in the garden. We are lucky enough to have a wonderful garden in Ebchester Co Durham, with woodland, rockery, pond and meadow (which is a work in progress!) which we share with chickens and a naughty little cat, Charlie. I grow seasonal flowers with no pesticides and only use natural feed, our flowers and garden support a wide range of wild life from local bees to deer!
You can find me occasionally at Vintage markets in the North East and Edinburgh as well as The Vintage Emporium Hexham where I have a small space full of my French finds.
We’re lucky enough to go to France on a regular basis, fishing around the vide greniers, brocantes and flea markets, sourcing items to bring home and cherish, which you can find in my online shop.
Vintage and Flowers is a member of Flowers from the Farm, an organisation of over 500 members all moving away from mass imported flowers, growing in back gardens to acres of land and providing seasonal fresh ethically grown blooms. I offer a DIY service so you can visit my cutting garden, pick and take away buckets of freshly grown seasonal blooms to create your own arrangements at home!
As my flower farm evolves, I will be hosting and running small workshops in our outbuildings, so keep an eye out for more information (or drop me a line if you want to know more of what is planned!).
